Today we would like to present a few recipes for dishes with pumpkin. It is not surprising as pumpkin is good in salads (uncooked), in soups, in main courses and in desserts. It tastes good with sour and sweet-and-sour apples, lettuces and carrots. Do not boil pumpkin – it loses flavour. It is better when baked cut in halves or large pieces for about 30 minutes. It is very nice with spices like caraway, pepper and eastern mixes. Pumpkin means a side dish (in pieces or pureed), fritters and pies. Just choose the right sort. In the West, for example, they prefer bottle gourds and dishcloth gourds. We naturally prefer butternut squash, buttercup squash, etc. and golden pear for gourmets. Bon appetit!

Pumpkin with meat

Ingredients:
(serves 8)
1 2.5kg pumpkin
1 kg pork
100 g rice
2 large carrots
0.5 kg peppers
1 pineapple or tinned pineapples
2 tbsp butter
Cooking time: 40 min
Baking time: 2 hrs
Caloric value: 405 kcal per serve

Cooking: Rinse the pumpkin, cut off the top and scoop out the seeds. Soak the rice in water for 30 min. Cut the pork into pieces and fry in the butter. Saut
