Fluffy fritters on yogurt


It is a wonderful option for Sunday morning fritters. They are incredibly fluffy and tasty. You may take any yogurt you like. I had natural Turkish yogurt.

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt – 250 ml;
  • Egg – 1 pc;
  • Butter – 20 g;
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp;
  • Flour – glass;
  • Soda – ½ tea spoon;
  • Baking powder – 1 tea spoon. 

Step 1

Melt the butter and let it stay for a minute. Mix up yogurt and egg in a bowl.

Pour the oil in and stir up.

Then add sugar and stir up.

Mix up flour with soda and baking powder in a bowl.

Step 5

Mix up until the flat mass. Leave for 15-20 minutes to lift up.

Fry fritters on the pre-heated frying pan with a drop of oil on medium heat. When holes appear, you may turn them over. Be careful, they might be liquid. That is why we have low heat to help the upper side to stiffen as much as possible.

Fry for another couple of minutes on the second side.

Serve with your favourite jam or condensed milk.
