Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
500g milk
2 bars of hot chocolate
1 tea spoon mais starch
Pinch of cinnamon
Cooking:
Pour milk into a thick-bottom saucepan, add chocolate broken into small pieces and starch.
Put on a small heat and get it boiled.
Boil for 2 minutes, switch off the heat, add cinnamon and pour into cups.
Chocolate Bavarois
Ingredients:
Egg yolks — 3 pc.
Milk — 200 g
Sugar — 150 g
Chocolate — 30 g
Strong hot tea — 30 g
Cooking:
Stir up the yolks with sugar. Melt choclate in hot milk then add tea. Mix both pastes and put on waterbath. Stir up until getting foamed. Serve hot. Add coffee or vanilla before serving.
Vienna Chocolate Drink
Ingredients:
Chocolate — 40 g
Sugare — 20 g
Yolk — 1 pc.
Water — 120 g
Cooking:
Boil chocolate with milk, water and sugar; keep mixing to a smoothe paste. Leave to get cold. Add yolk and put the paste on a small heat (up to 40 °С). After putting off the heat, stir up to fluffy foam. Serve cold in a cup topped with a tea of stirred cream.
You may add a spoon of rum and cream.
Orange Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
For 2 portions:
2 cups of milk
120g hot chocolate in pieces
3 strips of orange zest
1/2 tea spoon instant powder espresso or instant coffee
1/8 tea spoon of ground nutmeg
Cooking:
Mix up all ingridents in a heavy saucepan.
Stir on a heat until chocolate gets melted. Blow up the heat, keept stirring until it almost gets boiled. Put off the heat and stir up with manual mixer to the foam. Put on the heat and get it boiled again. Put off and stir up once more. Heat and stir again. Add orange zest.
Loving Drink from Guatemala
Ingredients:
100 g hot chocolate
0,5 l milk
2 vanilla pods
2 tbsp honey
50 g sugar
2 g salt
2 glasses of rum or tequila
10 g Capsicum frutescens or Tabasco
Cooking:
Heat milk with vanilla for 10 minutes until it starts smelling, take out pods and push them up. Put chocolate into milk and pour 0.25 l hot water. Add honey, sugar, alcohol and spices. Serve very hot.
