Cheese dishes


Today we would like to present recipes for dishes with cheese. When choosing hard or semi-firm cheese, make sure its surface is not moist or dry and crackled. Do not buy cheese smelling of ammonia. Check cheese wrapped in paper. Do no buy moist or sticky cheese. If possible, try it before buying. Soft and semi-soft cheese should be elastic and soft in the centre (not too soft if you want to eat it immediately). White fluffy crust should be even in colour and a little moist. Bon appetit!

Greek-Styled sheep cheese pie

Ingredients: (serves 8)

350 g wheat flour
150 g wholemeal flour
30 g fresh yeast
200 ml (1/5 litre) warm water
1 egg
3 tbsp sunflower oil
1 tsp salt
1 kg spinach
2 onions
1 garlic clove
5 tbsp olive oil pepper ground nutmeg
2 dill bunches
300 g sheep cheese

Cooking: For pastry: sift the flour into a bowl, combine with the wholemeal flour, make a deepening in the middle. Crumble the yeast into the deepening, add the water, mash, sprinkle with a little water. Leave to rest 10 min in a warm place. Add the egg, the oil, the salt, make smooth dense pastry, leave to rest 30 min in a warm place.
For the filling: take good spinach, cut off thick stalks, rinse the leaves, drain, cut into chunks. Peel and dice the onions. Peel and crush the garlic. Heat the oil, saut
