SAVVA Restaurant
The restaurant of the contemporary Russian cuisine opened at the Metropol Hotel on the Teatralnaya square is expected to be one of the main recent events of culinary life in Moscow.
In 1905 here was a coffee house. Its interior – marble walls, monumental columns, ceiling paintings – is believed to be untouched. It's been decorated with modern lightening and mirrors, also comfortable furniture has been placed and tables have been laid in a fancy style and voila, Savva has a splendid aristocratic Moscow ambiance now.
The second floor is a little bit more democratic. Wine evenings and tasting ceremonies are planned to conduct here.
Andrey Shmakov, a famous chef from Estonia, is responsible for the cuisine of Metropol Hotel restaurants. The author's menu performed at the Saava restaurant reflects chef's interest to local products, reframe of Russian culinary traditions, polished techniques of the classical French culinary and results of experiences with the Haute Nordic cuisine. Although his dishes seem to be simple but at the same time they are complicated and advanced, however, recognisable by the guests.Pub Lo Picasso Restaurant: Only Meat In Winter!
