New Menu of Schengen Restaurant

The new menu appeared at Schengen restaurant in November. The ideology of the new menu develops the concept of the modern restaurant in Saint-Petersburg which has been followed at Schengen from the beginning.

There are a few dishes of French origin in the new menu: vegetable salad Taboule with couscous, mint and cashew nuts, Lion salad with fried Camembert cheese, breast and croutons, pumpkin cream-soup with roast beef and Dorblu cheese, French apple pie Tarte Tatin.
Unwillingness to be limited with frames has led to unexpected but natural results. Besides mussels in Mariniere sauce and beef tartar there is herring from Murmansk with Algae Chuka and dishes under self-speaking title “Jewish trio with matza” which includes three Middle East snacks: forshmak, humus, Baba ghanoush.
It’s been also decided to develop a tendency of American Mac & Cheese. Three new dishes have been added: with mushrooms and truffle oil, with trout and with dried tomatoes and tomato sauce.
