Real Russian Salad from Chef of Gymnasia Restaurant Igor Pronin

What a New Year without the famous Russian salad? Chef of the restaurant Igor Pronin tried to reproduce the famous salad in the most proximate way as it was invented in the 19th century by Monsieur Lucien Olivier, however he is considered to have kept the author’s recipe for this dish as secret and undisclosed completely.  

The secret of the very tasty salad lies in the special seasoning and also in ingredients: the real Russian Salad Olivier includes white beans, crayfish tails and boiled quail or hazel-hen meat. Half of the quail egg topped with red caviar is a tasty and nice decoration of the salad (originally it was black caviar). 

Gymnasia restaurant invites to try this famous dish in its classical execution during New Year Holidays.
