PARAZITA KUSOK BAR

Redaktor, 14 May 2015

On 27th April the extreme bar under provocative title PARAZITA KUSOK BAR was open on Griboyedova channel by restaurateur Alexander Zatulivetrov (who also opened Myzhenaty and Vrednye lepeshki Bugursok cafes).

The new bar is accommodated in the first two halls of the Pan-Asian restaurant SWEET THAI (former Sviter s olenyami), while SWEET THAI still works in the third hall.

The idea to create such bar occurred to Alexander when he met a team of street artists  PARAZITA KUSOK selling stickers. The common same-name project is expected to use creative works made by the team: selling stickers in a bar and having master-classes from stickers' authors. Besides, a certain part of revenue will go to an orphan home. When renewing the interior, they used mainly stickers, placed graffiti on wall and tables but main changes concerned the menu.

All positions in the menu have the same price – 212 rubles. It also works for food and bar where if buying a bottle, the coefficient 212 rubles multiplied by 7 or 8 will be applied. The international menu consists of different dishes. There is Pad Thai (fried noodles, chicken, tofu, vegetables, ground nuts), beans soup with pieces of smoked meat, Tom Yam, falafel, kebab with pita, Thai salad with beef, corn, vegetables and mushrooms, steamed or grilled dishes. The breakfast paragraph includes corn porridge, fritters with condensed milk, Frankfurt sausages and other positions.

Some dishes have echo of the brutal bar name, for instance, there is a pieces paragraph where you can find a piece of fish pie, a piece of Russian herring burger, a piece of Cuban ham burger. When ordering a piece of Chilean roast beef burger, you definitely don't expect to see a burger with all ingredients such as sauce, onion, a piece of beef inside bread in place of beef chop. Creative moments can be found in other dishes as well: for instance, own made patty cake looks like sweet stick ice-cream. To be short, the cuisine of the sticker-bar is full of surprises.

Each day of the week there is a special action in a bar. For example, if buying a sticker on Tuesday, every second drink will go free of charge, all junk food is twice more on Wednesday and unlimited jam is served to tea on Saturday. Besides, it's beneficial to come on Monday: on the first Monday of the month all is 10% off, on the second Monday it's 20% off and so on. Discounts are available in a separate menu in the PARAZITA KUSOK bar.
