Traditional Russian Menu at Romanov Restaurant

Romanov restaurant belonging to Peter I hotel invites guests to try dishes from the new winter menu in January and February.
The concept of the menu will remind the guests of Russian festive traditions treating them with starters, pies, soups and several changes of hot courses. Traditional homemade Russian pickles are the mandatory part of the menu: cucumbers and tomatoes from the barrel, and also marinated mushrooms. The following dishes are served as starters: Salmon fillet smoked with juniper berries and horseradish sauce, homemade chicken roll, sour cabbage salad with cranberries. The first courses include schi with sour cabbage and cep mushrooms, borsch with sour cream. The second courses are sturgeon baked with potatoes and pork sirloin lockets with buckwheat.
