Festive Pilaf on Thursdays at Sandyk Restaurants

Sandyk restaurants invite the guests for Toy-osh on Thursday – it is traditional festive pilaf with lamb.

Those who have been to Uzbekistan, know about the national custom of local people to cook pilaf on Thursdays and to invite the guests for pilaf. “Why not to make such hospitable custom a tradition here?” – decided they at Sandyki. So, Toy-osh pilaf appeared at the menu of restaurants which is served on Thursdays from the morning until the late evening. 

Toy-osh is a festive pilaf with lamb, yellow carrots, raisins and chick-pea. In spite of abundance of meat and spices, it has a light and slightly dietetic taste which allows enjoying it both in the morning and late evening hours. The secret of this wonderful pilaf is in the right special way to steam the rice, - thinks brand-chef Igor Ten.  As a result of this, Toy-osh becomes tasty and rich: with good reason it is served to guests on festivals and weddings in Uzbekistan.
