Light, Healthy and Tasty Root Crops at SchiSliva

Since olden times vegetables, especially beetroot, carrot and other root crops have always been favorable and widely cooked in Russia.

It is hard to underestimate the use of vegetable food, however, we often prefer dishes richer in calories to it. Root crops will be a tasty alternative to usual food and will also complement your menu if you are on a diet or decide to have a fasting day.  

The menu of SchiSliva restaurant includes roots of parsley, celery, topinambour, Kohlrabi cabbage, potato, beet, onion and garlic baked with olive oil and grilled (260 rubles). All vegetables are delivered to the restaurant from the farms and cooked to traditional Russian recipes.  

Herbal and berry teas from a professional herb-lady (380 rubles) will help you to warm up in cold weather and to enrich the reserve of vitamins. If you decide to come to SchiSliva with a group of friends, order a traditional Russian samovar and sweets: marshmellow, dried biscuits and marmalade (1000 rubles).
