Dishes from Abruzzo Region at La Serenala Restaurant

The third month of the festival of regional dishes of Italy has concurred with the beginning of the Lent. Related to this, Chef of La Serenta restaurant Mikhail Andreev has chosen only Lenten but nicely delicious dishes from one of the central regions of Italy - Abruzzo.

For instance, Alforno is a light vegetable starter baked in spices served on fresh Radicchio and Frisee lettuce leaves with a seasoning 

made of olive oil and Pesto sauce (260 rubles). Pepperoncino and saffron, a spic heritage of Abruzzo region, will add a piquant flavor 

to rigatoni Zucchini-zafferano (350 rubles).    

Gnocchi di patato pasta - Italian dumplings made of young potatoes with cep mushrooms, ripen cherry tomatoes, scented basil and olive 

oil - is a very rich dish popular in central Italy (360 rubles). As for a dessert, Chef Mikhail Andreev offers to treat yourself with 

Monte Teramo jelly. Prepared of fresh strawberries and lemon, it is served with almonds, fresh strawberries and honey-mint sauce, 

cooked per recipe from Teramo - a honey province in Abruzzo (210 rubles).
