Rice with beef and vegetables from Meat Line Restaurant
Rice is one of the most worldwide, demanded and healthiest cereal grains in the modern cuisine. Lu Pan Pan, the Chef of Meat Line restaurant, demonstrates how to cook rice with beef – it’s not difficult to cook but very healthy and tasty dish which at the restaurant is cooked on the oven called “teppanyaki”.
Ingredients:
- Rice – 130 g;
- Beef – 8 g;
- Onion – 10 g;
- Red sweet pepper – 5 g;
- Green sweet pepper – 5 g;
- Carrot – 8 g;
- Green peas – 10 g;
- Egg – 20 g, 1 pc;
- Butter – 5 g;
- Spring onion – 5 g;
- Soya sauce – 5 g;
- Cognac – 10 ml;
- Spices: salt, black pepper.
Step 1
While the oven is pre-heated (until 300 degrees C), prepare all necessary ingredients. Cook rice in steamer, all other products should remain raw, peeled and cut if needed.
Step 2
Sprinkle with olive oil and spread it over the working area.
Step 3
First, fry green peas – not for a long time because the heat is quite strong.
Step 4
After the peas fry corn. Combine fried corn with peas.
Step 5
Fry carrots.
Step 6
Fry green sweet pepper after the carrots.
Step 7
Then fry red sweet pepper.
Step 8
After frying all vegetables roast the beef. Do it quite fast as the heat is quite strong.

Then fry onion.
Step 10
Now the topping made of vegetables, beef and onion is ready.

Arrange rice on teppanyaki and slightly fry.

Beat an egg into the rice.
Step 13
Mix up the rice so that the egg is spread flat in it.

We fry rice together with the egg to mix ingredients evenly.
Step 15
Finally, combine fried rice together with fried vegetables and beef.
Step 16
Sprinkle rice with salt to your taste.

Then it’s time to top the dish slightly with pepper.

Add a small slice of butter.

Now it’s time for soya sauce. The dish gets brighter with such tasty and universal sauce. Be careful when pouring the sauce to prevent from over-salt.

Now use cognac. Top the rice along edges.

A few seconds and the cognac will evaporate leaving its rich aroma to the dish.

When the dish is ready, place it on a plate – it should take 5-7 minutes starting from frying green peas. Feel free to try. If you cook the dish in a regular kitchen, you may use a frying pan of a big diameter.
Step 23
Top with spring onion when serving.
