The
name of the Temple Bar gets us to the misty London of the XIIIth century where the gates of the same name
served as the western border between London historical centre – the City and
Westminster, which is a political centre of the United Kingdom now. The famous
gates keep the memory of the most important national events which the country’s
famous people took part it: according to the existing tradition even the
crowded heads stopped at the Temple Bar to ask the Lord Mayor for the permission
to enter the City. It is no coincidence that the name of the famous London
gates was chosen for the chain of the pub restaurants. The main goal of these
places is to give equal possibility for the people of different professions and
wealth at any time of the day to change the busy and grey world of the streets
for the atmosphere of English comfort, quality and competence.
