Japanese salad with tongue
All know the perfect combination of boiled tongue with horseradish. It constitutes the “zest” of this recipe. However, we use Japanese horseradish wasabi. The salad is very tasty! We insistently recommend.

portions Ingredients:
Boiled beef tongue – 300 g;
Lettuce leaves mix (or iceberg) – 130 g;
Cucumbers – 2 pc;
Light mayonnaise – 5 tbsp;
Wasabi;
Black grated pepper;
Sesame – 1 tbsp.
Step 1
Wash out and dry the lettuce leaves. I have a set of Frisse, Iceberg and Radicchio already torn. If you have a head of iceberg, just tear it with hands.
Step 2
First, finely slice the tongue and then cut it into sticks. Put into the bowl with a salad.
Step 3
Cut the cucumbers into the sticks as well.
Step 4
Put mayonnaise and wasabi into the bowl. I avoid writing how much because it is always different. Usually I buy the paste but this time it was missing and such wasabi sauce has caught my eyes. I put 7 tea spoons of it. Try. It might be very hot or not really like mine. Mayonnaise should be with wasabi flavor and of light-green color. Remember that taste of horseradish goes very well with tongue!
Step 5
Add black pepper, approximately one third of the tea spoon and mix up.
Step 6
Season the salad with a sauce and mix up well.
Step 7
Put over the salad into the salad dish or in portion plates and top with sesame. It’s better to eat immediately as cucumbers will get wet very soon.
