Wiener schnitzel
Based on many requests from my reader, I’m giving a recipe of the Wiener schnitzel this time. Originally, Wiener Schnitzel is always a thin piece of veal breaded and deep fried in oil. It is not the dietetic piece of meat. So, I was preparing for a long time before cooking it. But it is very-very tasty. Sometimes we can indulge ourselves, can’t we?

portions Ingredients:
- Veal – 400 g,
- Flour – 2 tbsp,
- Egg – 1 pc,
- Breadcrumbs (better homemade) – 3 tbsp,
- Salt, fresh grounded black pepper,
- Butter – 3 tbsp,
- Oil – 5 tbsp,
- Lemon for serving – ½ pc.
Step 1
Cut the veal into portion pieces 2-3 cm thick.
Step 2
Then cut each piece alongside (like the book). Not through and through! But to get one thin piece.
Step 3
Open it.
Step 4
Cover with the film and beat thoroughly. Be careful not to harm the meat.
Step 5
Prepare three plates. Place flour in the first one. Beat an egg with a fork in the second one and place breadcrumbs in the third plate.
Step 6
Melt butter and oil in a frying pan on strong heat.
Step 7
Place schnitzel in the flour, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Turn it over and sprinkle with salt and pepper again. Then coat in the flour until all white spots disappear. Do it tenderly, do not beat flour into the meat. Remove extra flour.
Step 9
Then place meat into the egg and turn over to coat flat. Let extra egg drop off.
Step 10
Then coat in breadcrumbs. Also turn over a few times.
Step 11
Place in a frying pan. Fry for three minutes and keep pouring with oil taken with a spoon from the bottom of the frying pan.
Step 12
Then turn over and fry for two minutes more, keep on pouring with oil.
Step 13
Then place on a plate with paper towel to remove extra fat. If you fry more than 2 portions, then coat the baking pan and place schnitzels on it in warm oven (pre-heat it until 70 degrees before and switch off 15 minutes before cooking schnitzels).
Step 14
Slice the lemon.
Step 15
Serve schnitzel traditionally with slices of lemon and potato cooked to your taste. I served with potato baked with herbs and garlic.
