Chocolate & curd pie with cherry
Очень нежный, шоколадно-сливочный вкус этого пирога с вишневой кислинкой ни в коем случае не оставит вас равнодушными! Почти брауни и почти чиз-кейк. Чем не разумный компромисс?
Ingredients:
- Butter – 100 g;
- Dark chocolate – 100 g;
- Cottage cheese natural – 400 g;
- Eggs – 4 pc;
- Sugar – 2.5 glasses;
- Vanilla extract – 1 tea spoon;
- Flour – 2 tbsp full;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Frozen cherry – a pack (450 g).
Step 1
Take cherry out of the fridge. You don’t need to unfreeze it completely – we need solid cherry. Heat over the oven until 175 degrees. Cut the butter into cubes.
Step 2
Break the chocolate into pieces and together with butter melt on double boiling (be careful and avoid boiling water touching the bottom of the bowl as it is not good for chocolate).
Step 3
Meanwhile, place cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 1 glass of sugar and vanilla extract into a big bowl.
Step 4
Mix up with mixer until the flat mass.
Step 5
When the butter and chocolate get melted, stir them up take out from the oven.
Step 6
Add the second glass of sugar and stir up.
Step 7
Beat in other 2 eggs and stir up again.
Step 8
Add a pinch of salt – it allows the chocolate to get open.
Step 9
Add flour and stir up all together.
Step 10
Coat rectangular baking pan with baking paper.
Step 11
Pour chocolate layer into the pan.
Step 12
Pour the curd layer on top. Take a spoon and scoop carefully the chocolate layer from the bottom to the top making random drawings in the cake.
Step 13
Place half of cherry on the surface of the cake.
Step 14
Press each berry in the cake using your finger. Place in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
Step 15
Then place the rest of cherries into a small pot and add the second half of sugar left (somehow we have a sad sauce made of the rest of products).
Step 16
Place the pot on low heat and cook until sugar gets melted completely (approximately for 5 minutes).
Step 17
When the time is out, take the cake out of the oven and cool down for two hours at least.
Step 18
Slice in the pan, top with sauce and serve. Very tasty!
