Turkey barbecue in spicy marinade
Turkey is considered to be dry and flavourless. But we understand that our success depends on the way of cooking. If marinated well, we have all chances to enjoy the excellent result. If you worry that breast fillet is still dry, you’d better take leg quarters fillet.
4-6
portions Ingredients:
- Turkey fillet – 1 kg,
- Garlic – 3 cloves,
- Ginger root – 5-cm piece,
- Soya sauce – 5 tbsp,
- Apple vinegar – 1 tbsp,
- Sesame oil – 1 tbsp,
- Ground chili pepper – 1 tea spoon,
- Sesame – 2 tbsp,
- Salt.
Step 1
Peel garlic and ginger. Cut ginger into sticks and press out the garlic with a plain side of knife. Mix up all liquid ingredients of the marinade with chili and salt in a bowl. Add ginger and garlic. Cut the turkey into cubes like for barbecue (approximately 5x5), store in a plastic bag and pour with the marinade. Close the bag carefully to avoid tearing and shake the meat in a bag to get it all covered with marinade. Leave on a table for 30 minutes.
Step 2
If you have no metal meat skewers at home, coat wooden skewers in the water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning. String the meat on skewers and place on a baking pan.
Step 3
Top the fillet with sesame and place in the oven pre-heated until 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Step 4
Cook until light brown.
Step 5
Serve with your favorite vegetables.
Bon appetite!
