Oatmeal biscuits with chocolate

If you are going to watch the Olympiad in a family circle, what might be better than a plate of tasty biscuits accompanying you? I assume oatmeal biscuits are familiar to all. Try to cook it at home, you will be definitely surprised. It took me 15 minutes to prepare the dough (I calculated purposefully) and 20 minutes to bake. The happiness as a result is incredible.

  • Butter – 120 g; 
  • Brown sugar – ½ glass;
  • Egg – 1 pc;
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tea spoon; 
  • Flour – 1 glass; 
  • Finely grounded oatmeal – 1 glass; 
  • Baking powder – 1 pack (10 g); 
  • Salt – ½ tea spoon; 
  • Cinnamon – ¾ tea spoon; 
  • Almond – ½ glass; 
  • Black chocolate – 50 g; 
  • Cold water – 1 tbsp. 

Step 1

Take the butter out of the fridge in advance to get it soft. Put it into a bowl and add sugar. Whip for 3-4 minutes in a mixer.

Step 2

Beat the egg into it and whip again. Add vanilla extract and repeat the action.

Step 3

Mix up dry ingredients into the other bowl: flour, oatmeal, baking powder, salt, cinnamon.

Step 4

Ground the nuts in a blender and then chocolate to get average crumbs (avoid grounding into flour). Add to the dry mixture. Mix up.

Step 5

Put the dry mixture into the butter one and mix up the dough. Add water and stir until flat mass.

Step 6

Coat the baking pan with baking paper. Taking the dough with a table spoon, shape biscuits with hands wet in cold water. Put them within a distance from each other.

Step 7

Put into the oven pre-heated until 180 degrees for 20 minutes until light golden color.

Step 8

Let them cool down and put to a plate. Neighbors are going to run to the smell.
