Meat pie with ketchup
It’s very home, cozy and warm dish. And it’s so handy to cook! Stir up the mince beef, put into the oven and it’s ready. It is not for nothing that whole America is hanging on it. It is an excellent alternative to our cutlets – not necessary to stand by the stove, plus it’s healthier from the oven. This variant is classic and ketchup might be used as a dressing. Take a tasty one which you are sure of.

portions Ingredients:
- Mince beef – 800 g;
- Onion – 1 pc;
- Garlic – 2 cloves;
- Ketchup – 100 ml + 3 tbsp;
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp;
- Dry basil – 1 tea spoon;
- Black ground pepper, salt;
- Sparkling water – 2 tbsp;
- Oil – 2 tea spoons.
Step 1
Finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Add onion to the bowl with mince beef and press out the garlic there. Stir up.
Step 3
Pour soya sauce and ketchup. Stir up.
Step 4
Add sparkling water.
Step 5
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and finally stir up mince beef.
Step 6
I do it with hands. In the end you may throw a ball of mince beef on the bottom for a couple of times – this way the roll will be airy.

Grease with oil the baking pan for the pie.

Put our mince beef on it and make it flat. Put to the oven pre-heated until 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Step 9
Take out, top with 1.5 table spoon of ketchup and bake again for 20 minutes. Then repeat ketchup procedure and bake again for 20 minutes. Totally, baking the pie takes 1 hour.
Step 10
After the oven let the pie be for 10 minutes, slice and serve to the table. It’s perfect with vegetables.
