Lemon cakes
Lemon delicacy for tea which is very simple and easy to cook will be definitely appreciated by all.
Ingredients:
- Sugar – 1 glass;
- Lemon (only zest) – 2 pc;
- Butter – 100 g;
- Eggs – 2 pc;
- Flour – 2.5 glasses;
- Baking powder – 1 tea spoon;
- Salt – a pinch;
- Sugar powder – 3-4 tbsp.
Step 1
Take out the butter from the fridge in advance as it should be absolutely soft. At least two and a half hours before. Add sugar in a bowl and grate lemon zest there. Use only yellow part because the white is bitter.
Step 2
Pass through sugar and lemon zest with hands.
Step 3
Add butter.
Step 4
Whip for a couple of minutes. Then beat eggs one by one.
Step 5
Then whip for another couple of minutes.
Step 6
Mix up flour with baking powder and salt in another bowl.
Step 7
Add dry ingredients with butter mixture and knead dough. It will be soft and elastic.
Step 8
Make average rolls of the dough and coat them in sugar powder. Arrange on the baking pan coated with baking paper within the distance from each other.
Step 9
Send to the oven pre-heated until 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Step 10
Let cakes cool down and serve.
