Chicken legs in yogurt with ginger
This is another dietetic recipe. Remove the skin from legs if you prefer a light version. As for the rest, yogurt, oven and chicken – what might be healthier and tastier? Ah, and of course ginger!

portions Ingredients:
- Chicken legs – 800 g (8 pc);
- Yogurt Greek or any other natural – 400 ml;
- Lemon – ½ pc;
- Onion – 1 big pc;
- Curry – 1 tea spoon;
- Paprika – 1 tea spoon;
- Dry ginger (powder) or a piece of ginger root grated on a small grater – 1 tea spoon;
- Chili – ½ tea spoon;
- Salt;
- Cherry tomatoes – 250 g.
Step 1
Put the yogurt into the bowl.
Step 2
Add all spices and salt.
Step 3
Cut onion into sticks ad mix with yogurt.
Step 4
Add 2 table spoons of lemon juice and tea spoon of zest. Stir up.
Step 5
Put chicken legs washed out and dried with paper towel in advance into the marinade and mix up well. Put into the fridge for 1 hour.
Step 6
Then put over to the baking pan.
Step 7
Arrange tomatoes in free holes.
Step 8
Put into the oven pre-heated until 170 degrees for one hour, then low down the temperature until 150 degrees and keep for 30 minutes. The meat will be very tender!
