Quiche with chicken and vegetables

I’ve been seriously keen on oats paste for quiche. Not only that it is healthier than usual, it is also hyper-tasty. It is well-known that fillings for quiche might be created endlessly. In this recipe I offer you to try it with chicken fillet, broccoli and tomatoes.

The colder are ingredients for the paste, the better. Then it will be fluffy as needed. You may chop it with knife or grind with fingers. As for me, I’ve handed out this process to the food processer for a long time.

  • Find grinded oat-flakes - 1 glass;
  • Flour - 2/3 glass;
  • Cold butter - 100 g;
  • Cold milk - 1/4 glass;
  • Baking powder - 1 tea spoon;
  • Salt - 1/2 tea spoon;

  • Chicken fillet - 2 pc (1 breast);
  • Broccoli (I had frozen) - 250 g;
  • Onion - 1 pc;
  • Cherry tomatoes - 250 g;
  • Eggs - 2 pc;
  • Cream - 200 ml;
  • Cheese - 200 g;
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp;
  • Salt, fresh ground white pepper

Step 1

Put all ingredients for the paste into the food processor. Mix up. It should be rolled in a ball.

Step 2

Arrange on the bottom of the pan with diameter 26 cm, making edges 3 cm high. Put the pan with paste into the fridge for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, let’s prepare the filling.

Step 3

Wash out chicken fillet and dry it with paper towel. Then cut into sticks.

Step 4

Cut the onion into quarter-rings.

Step 5

Heat the olive oil on a frying pan and parboil onion on the steam until it gets transparent.

Step 6

Add chicken fillet to the onion. Fry together for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 7

Halve tomatoes. When time is up, take out the paste from the fridge and put into the oven pre-heated until 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 8

Throw broccoli into boiling salted water. Cook for 2 minutes and drain off.

Step 9

Grate the cheese on a big grater.

Step 10

Beat eggs, pour cream, add salt in a bowl and mix up with a spatula.

Step 11

Add cheese to eggs and cream.

Step 12

Take the paste out of the oven. Put chicken with onion on it.

Step 13

Then put broccoli heads (I halve them prior to it).

Step 14

Then arrange nicely tomatoes.

Step 15

Pour with cream and cheese and put into the oven for 20-25 minutes. Keep an eye – until golden colour.

Step 16

Usually you may eat it both warm and cold.

Bon appetite!
