Chestnuts Season at Shalyapin Restaurant

The chestnut menu has been launched since the second decade of November at Shalyapin restaurants. Chestnut is a rare guest in Petersburg restaurants but at Shalyapin chestnuts are performed in the chapter of main courses and among desserts as well.

Chestnut cream-soup with cep mushrooms, 390 rubles. 

Fried chestnuts, celery stalk and shallot are poured with vegetable broth, then stewed in the oven and turned into puree. Before serving it is seasoned with spices, butter and milk. Then it’s served with cep mushrooms and chestnuts. 

Chicken fillet with bulgur and chestnut cream, 490 rubles. 

Chicken fillet is marinated in orange & maple marinade and grilled. Bulgur is fried on olive oil, then cooked until readiness and dressed with fresh plums. Chestnuts are fried until readiness and boiled in milk, then turned into puree with spices added. 

Chestnut cupcake with chestnut ice-cream with white chocolate cream and chocolate brandy sauce, 390 rubles. It is served with chocolate sauce and chestnut ice-cream and caramel crumbs.
