The true Italian corner – Il Canto restaurant and karaoke hall – has been open on Izmailovskoye shosse at Alfa hotel within the walking distance from underground station Partizanskaya. Once stepping over the threshold, you are experiencing the  Mediterranean  easy-going ambiance: the blue sky is designed on the ceiling, columns are painted with names of Italian dishes, the bar tend shines with mosaic and lamps shaped as sea stars are found side by side with beige abat-jours. When choosing a place, you may stop on the old carved table with legs shaped as lion’s paws or comfortably sit on soft striped sofas. Thinking over the restaurant image, Il Canto designers were careful to details – table dishware was ordered in Italy, for example.
The Chef’s name is able to attract gourmets to Il Canto. Vadim Borisenko lived 3 years in Italy and worked as a cook at the fish restaurant. He missed Moscow and returned back, then started working at Bosco restoration in 2004. Only Italians had been Chefs at Bosco restoration family before that! When working as Chef at Bosco house, Vadim Borisenko developed the menu for the guests of the Russian House on the Olympic Games for several years.Vadim creatively reconsiders the best recipes and brings them up to the golden middle. For instance, when cooking Caprese cold starter, he removes skin from tomatoes and makes Mozzarella Buffalo be disclosed instead of cutting – all this gives a special tenderness to the dish. Among special dishes from Chef there is duck breast on brandied pear and salmon fillet on asparagus pillow.  The menu includes Italian culinary among which there is Parma ham, bresaola and famous cheeses: Provolone, Gorgonzola etc. They prepare pasta themselves, bake pizza in the oven at an open kitchen and cook risotto with cep mushrooms, asparagus and Parmesan. You may try pumpkin cream-soup  with shrimps and coconut milk, minestrone. The dish of the day is offered 50% off daily. Millefeuille dessert is very popular among guests: thin layers of the paste, abundant piquant cream, scented forest berries and almond petals – all is a real poem told in the language of desserts. Live music is played at the restaurant in the evenings from 7 pm to 11 pm; karaoke hall is open from 11 pm to 5 am. Professional equipment EvolutionPro and smart sound director will help you to enjoy favourite hits. The karaoke list includes more than 43 thousands songs. Small guests are not forgotten here: there is karaoke-menu for children and a special kitchen menu with funny images of Cippollino,  animation and competitions on the weekends.
