Food Ode Biggest Culinary Festival In Eastern Europe

The big Food Ode festival will take part in Moscow and St. Petersburg in the summer 2015 and promises to prove the status of the biggest culinary event in Eastern Europe in terms of the number of guests, participants and cities-participants.
The festival will be organised in two biggest parks of two capitals: 27-28 June Gorky Park in Moscow and 25-26 June central park on Elagin island in St. Petersburg. Last summer over 50 thousand guests visited the festival in two cities. There were over 200 culinary projects and restaurants. This year the big Food Ode festival will hit that record: 100 000 guests, over 400 different participants in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
According to the tradition, Food Ode will perform a culinary panorama of Moscow and St. Petersburg to the guests. This year the topic of festival is “Russian culinary traditions”. In St. Petersburg together with festival participants the Food Ode will be researching the phenomena of Petersburg cuisine described in literature by Pushkin, Dostoyevskiy, Tolstoy and other classical authors on the one hand, and having a special taste of the rich Russian cuisine with elegant German, French, Italian and Dutch accents on the other.
