La Celletta Caffé Cafe

The new place La Celletta Caffé on Fontanka looks like the most “Italian” seasonal discovery. Striking features of this cafe created by an Italian team are a variety of pizza, real gelato and special coffee shakes.
The kitchen is headed by
the chef Giorgio Siciliano who used to work for La Celletta Country
House in Italy
for many years. The menu is accentuating the authentic pizza on thin dough. And
here are two options, red and white, with or without tomato paste.
Besides, the menu includes crostini, bruschetta, soups, salads and a few desserts – all dishes are typical for Marche region.
The ice-cream at La Celletta Caffé is spoken to be a separate topic worth a special attention: a variety of different sorts, exciting flavors and fine texture makes natural gelato different from ordinary ice-cream Petersburg dwellers have got used to. As for a bar list, here they cook coffee shakes so beloved by Italians with Pascucci coffee in a coffee machine of the same brandsupplementing espresso with milk, whipped cream, cacao, coffee powder and other toppings.
The La Celletta Caffé team didn't ask for designer's services when working over the interior design. They preferred to do everything themselves: they have chosen clean and bright colours, decorated the hall with fancy tiles, selected neat and nice furniture.
