Chinese Nettle, Taro Potato & Other Wonders at Zodiac Restaurant

Zodiac restaurant is greeting autumn with a new menu. Brand-Chef and Chef of the restaurant Vladimir Mukhin and Ilya Zakharov have returned back fr om the Chinese market with full baskets wh ere curious products can be found.

Every dish is another product and another story. Chef Ilya Zakharov is cooking Chinese celery with orange curry sauce (410 rubles) to point out with its sweet flavour the tender taste of chicken meat marinated with sweet chili and ginger.  Chicken hearts are served in Chilli Bean sauce with a bright bunch of juicy Chinese lettuce leaves (450 rubles). Dumplings made of Japanese rice and coconut milk jelly is added to the original green soup obo-shiso (460 rubles).  

Familiar names assume also a reason to give new meanings to them.   Milk corn is cooked in Japanese tempura with sea salt flakes and lime 9290 rubles). Cold tomato soup is with tuna and tartar made of beaten cucumbers with mellow tomatoes. Kebabs are made of chicken “oysters” (380 rubles), the most tender and juicy pieces which are enough for only two skewers out of 10 kg chicken quarters.  

For a dessert goes the main Zodiac star – famous Vagasi Moti. This time – black ones (380 rubles)!
