You will find traditional Uzbek dishes as well as dishes of Italian and European cuisines in a rich menu of the place. There are always two sorts of pilaf (holiday and tea-house), finest flatbreads and tandoor samosa, risotto, carpaccio, pasta, kebabs and more than 70 dishes. Of course, with all this variety it is hard to make a choice, but that’s a wonderful reason to come here another time.
Oriental and European traditions are also intertwisted in the Tea-house interiors: Uzbek national patterns are weaved on the comfortable modern sofas, cushions of different colors make cozy arm-chairs softer. Plasma screens are hung on the walls and there is a stage with all necessary equipment and spacious dance floor in the centre of the hall. Live music sings in the restaurant every evening, show programs are organized on Friday and Saturday. The ones, who prefer to have quieter and more philosophical leisure time, are offered board games: checks, chess, backgammon.
The main hall holds 110 persons and the banquet hall – 70 persons. In the banquet hall ideal atmosphere for any event is created: there is all necessary music and light equipment, a stage and separate lavatories. Guests post themselves in large soft arm-chairs without armpads, which are arranged in pairs, with most possible comfort. You can order a banquet with traditional European and Russian dishes or make it in Oriental manner with steaming pilaf and kebabs. Minimal cost for the banquet service is 1 800 rubles per person. If a banquet is held on a week-day (except for Friday) there are special terms.
Except for traditional and popular dishes, the Tea-house offers very interesting specialties. You can taste salad with duck and pomegranate, salad with chicken inners and almond, buckwheat and porcini and foie gras, burger and truffle paste, risotto and porcini dressed with teriyaki sauce, in particular. Looking through the bar-room list, you should pay attention to a special cocktail.
On week-days guests are offered two kinds of business lunches and 15% discount for all the main menu dishes. Free delivery of dishes within Hamovniki district (orders over 2000 rubles) is possible. It is easy to drive to the restaurant, there is a free parking.
