Salad with chicken and prunes

I tried this salad at my friend’s birthday party… I questioned her closely and just like a spy, I ran away home to make it true and to share with you! I liked it very much! However, I feel quite skeptical to the sweet flavor in ordinary food but here prunes are just in place. I’d highly recommend it.

  • Chicken breast – 1 big or 2 small pc;
  • Cheese – 300 g;
  • Prunes – 150 g;
  • Eggs – 2 pc;
  • Mayonnaise – at least a pack (450 ml); 
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves. 

Step 1

Pour the chicken breasts with cold water and put to cook. Remove the foam after it gets boiled, low down the heat and cook for 40 minutes more. Sprinkle with salt 10 minutes before the end of cooking. Boil eggs hard. You may do all this in advance.

Step 2

Pour prunes with boiling water in a plate and leave for a while. Meanwhile, get the cold chicken breasts into slices with hands. This way it is tastier than to cut.

Step 3

Drain out the prunes and let it cool down.

Step 4

Grate cheese on a small grater and put into the salad dish where we put the chicken.

Also chop the prunes and put it there.

Pour the mayonnaise into the salad. Press out the garlic. Now I’ll explain why I wrote “at least a pack” in the Ingredients. All will depend on the ‘humidity’ of your products. Chicken and cheese absorb a lot of mayonnaise. For example, this time I had very juicy breasts… Otherwise, I’d have added more mayonnaise. On the other hand, chewing dry meat is a doubtful pleasure.

Step 8

Mix up thoroughly to get the prunes arranged well and serve.
