Now Hemingway has his own bar in Saint Petersburg. Hemingway Bar is the name of a new establishment which has been originated in Lomonosova street. The historical city downtown is an appropriate frame of the inner restaurant’s content. A luxuriant restaurant with leather furniture, oak floors, well-zoned space and splendid services promotes to cultural enjoyment of drinks and qualitative vast non-bar cuisine. One could only dream of such a place in Hemingway’s time. As you see, sooner or later dreams can come true.
Each guest enjoys such services as if this restaurant was established solely for him.  There is plenty of space here. Trough the front door you get to a spacious lobby, where you can not only leave your overcoat but read the latest press issues in a cozy fine arm-chair. You can also read comfortably if you settle in the main hall. A waiter will help you to select an appropriate table. As it was mentioned above, cozy zoning is one of Hemingway Bar’s advantages. If you look around, you’ll make sure that it is not a mere assertion. There is no habitual bar cram, absence of vacant seats and close vicinity with visitors. There are no puffs of smoke produced by numerous smokers, as there is a nice ventilation system which is able to cope with all loads.
The hall is separated with arches into 3 areas. Every area has a peculiarity. Some tables are located next to a crowded bar, other tables are near of a noisy stage. Also there are tables in a private banquet cabinet and remote cozy nook. Identical interior design in all halls creates an integral atmosphere for all guests. Bu still there are some differences, for example, a banquet hall is brighter. Original brickwork of arches, ancient columns, drafts, Hemingway’s autographs, photos and other rare things create a particular microclimate promoting deliberate relaxation.
Visiting of Hemingway Bar is not only enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. Gusts have in their disposal a rich menu accompanied with lots of spirits, seven beers, wines of the Old and New Worlds, various teas, coffees and fresh juices. We should specially emphasize a wide choice of whiskies, rums, Daiquiri and Mojito well-known by Hemingway’s novels. Don’t miss elite cognacs, Italian grappa, Brazilian Cachaca... It is impossible to enumerate all the drinks.
The menu presents dishes from all over the world. The chef of Hemingway Bar worked as a sous chef at a giant liner Queen Mary II. This liner transports thousands of passengers of various nationalities per one voyage. So it is natural for the restaurant menu to speckle with specialties from five continents. Goose liver pate marinated in ‘Marsala’ with sea scallops slices is served here. Try ‘Lomi Lomi’ salad mixed of fresh salmon, tomatoes and topped with Hawaiian dressing. Patriots are offered traditional Russian pickled products and potato draniki. Mediterranean cuisine admirers can try ‘Comandante’ soup cooked of Giant-Kiwi mussels, shrimps, chicory and leek. Standard ‘Beer Menu’ is in your disposal: steaks, grilled dishes, beer snacks and etc.
Perhaps, the spiciest dish to accompany one’s meal is a nice concert. Every weekend Hemingway Bar presents interesting musical projects, exclusive concerts to Saint Petersburg citizens. Every nigh DJs perform exclusive sets. To put a long story short, nobody is going to be bored here. As the average bill is not more than 1000 rubles, this place is going to be a precious gift for persons who don’t like tedious time. By the way, the restaurant functions at night.
